Celtic Fox Second Saturday event 9-12-26 (Affects SW 8th, Kansas Ave & Jackson)

EFFECTIVE DATE: Saturday, September 12, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound #7 Washburn will be on regular route to SE 9th Street and Quincy, it will continue straight (west) on SE 9th Street to Jackson, it will turn right (north) on Jackson to SW 8th Street, it will turn left (west) on SW 8th Street. Back on route.

INBOUND: The inbound #7 Washburn will be on regular route to SW 8th Street and Topeka Blvd., it will turn left (north) on Topeka Blvd. to SW 6th Street, it will turn right (east) on SW 6th Street to Monroe, it will turn right (south) on Monroe to Quincy Street Staging Area.

REASON: SW 8th Street between Kansas Ave. and Jackson will be closed for the “Celtic Fox Second Saturday Street Party”.

END DATE: 2:00 AM Sunday.

Bus shelter @ Walmart South is out-of-service

EFFECTIVE DATE: Thursday, September 10, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound #7 Washburn bus will be on regular route to Topeka Blvd. & SW 38th Street, it will continue straight on Topeka Blvd. to Kansas Ave., it will turn right (west) on Kansas Ave. to the I-470 on-ramp, it will take I-470 to the Burlingame exit, it will turn right (north) on Burlingame to SW 36th Street, it will turn right (east) on SW 36th Street to Plass, it will turn right (south) on Plass to SW 37th Street, it will turn right (west) on SW 37th Street to Burlingame, it will turn left (south) on Burlingame to SW 42nd Street, it will turn left (east) on SW 42nd Street to Southgate, it will turn left (north) on Southgate to SW 41st Street, it will turn right (east) on SW 41st Street to Martin Dr., it will turn right (south) on Martin Dr. Back on route to Burlingame & I-470 East on-ramp, it will turn right (east) on I-470 to the Kansas Ave. exit, it will turn left (north) on Topeka Blvd. to SW 37th Street. Back on route.

NOTE: The bus shelter at Wal-Mart South as well as inbound stops on SW 37th Street between Burlingame and Topeka Blvd. will be out of service.

A temporary bus stop will be located on the northwest corner of SW 37th Street & Plass.

REASON: The SW 39th Street/Martin Dr. bridge over I-470 has been closed for road construction.
