MOD's convenient service provides customer transportation within the designated southeast zone (see map). This is a shared ride service, so the customer may be riding alone or with multiple people.
On-Demand Service
MOD (Metro On-Demand) service is operated by the Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority. Microtransit is a curb-to-curb shared-ride service that uses mobile technology to offer trips within a specific zone. The service is driven by professionally-trained Topeka Metro bus operators using fully accessible vehicles.

Mon - Fri 5:35 a.m. - 6:40 p.m.
Saturday 8:15 a.m. - 6:40 p.m.
How To Use The Service
Accessing the MOD Topeka App is easy! It is available via the Apple app store for iOS or Google Play for Android for mobile phones or tablets. It can also be accessed at www.modtopeka.app
An additional scheduling option is to call the Topeka Metro Customer Service number at (785) 783-7000 to book your ride.
Payment for Service
Fare for one-way ride is $2.00. EXACT amount of cash is REQUIRED. Bus operators do not carry change. Beginning Monday, March 27, 2023, passengers can use debit or credit cards to pay for fare. Submit financial information either in the MOD Topeka mobile app or at www.modtopeka.app under "BOOK A RIDE."
Note: Up to three children under the age of five may right with a paying adult.
