2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade detour - 3-14-26

EFFECTIVE DATE: Saturday, March 14, 2026

OUTBOUND: Exit QSS onto 9th Street, left (east) on 9th Street to Monroe, right (south) on Monroe to 12th Street, right (west) on 12th Street to Topeka Blvd., right (north) on Topeka Blvd. to 8th Street, left (west) on 8th Street, back on regular route.  

INBOUND: Regular route to 8th Street & Topeka Blvd., right (south) on Topeka Blvd. to Huntoon, left (east) on Huntoon (turns into 12th Street) to Quincy, left (north) on Quincy to 8th Street, right (east) on 8th Street, back on regular route.

REASON: Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown Topeka - Starts at NOON

END DATE: SUPERVISOR ON DUTY WILL MONITOR WHEN DETOUR GOES INTO EFFECT AND WHEN IT WILL END.

Martin Dr. closed b/w SW 41st St & SW 42nd St due to road reconstruction

EFFECTIVE DATE: Monday, March 9, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound #7 Washburn bus will be on regular route to Martin Dr. and SW 41st Street, it will turn right (west) on SW 41st Street to Southgate Dr., it will turn left (south) on Southgate Dr. to SW 42nd Street, it will turn right (west) on SW 42nd Street. Back on route. 

The bus stop at Martin Dr. and the bus shelter at TARC Southgate will be out of service.

Temporary bus stops will be located on the northeast corner of SW 41st Street and Martin Dr., and on Southgate Dr. just north of SW 42nd Street.

REASON: Martin Dr. closed between SW 41st Street and SW 42nd Street for road reconstruction.
