Arvonia & Huntoon stop closed due to road work at Huntoon and Wanamaker

EFFECTIVE DATE: Wednesday, August 26, 2026

INBOUND: The inbound West 6th route is not able to turn left (north) at Huntoon and Wanamaker due to road work in that area.The route is taking Winding Rd. from Arvonia (Sam's Club fuel entrance) down to Wanamaker to get back on route.

NOTE: The only bus stop not able to be serviced is Arvonia and Huntoon. 

REASON: Road work at Huntoon & Wanamaker.

Installation of Casey's entry drive at SW 6th & Gage Blvd.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Thursday, August 6, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound #6 West Sixth bus will be on regular route to SW Sixth Street and Gage Blvd. It will turn right (north) on Gage Blvd. to the westbound I-70 on-ramp, it will continue westbound on I-70 to the Fairlawn off-ramp, it will turn left (south) on Fairlawn to SW Sixth Street, it will turn right (west) on SW Sixth Street. Back on route.

The following outbound bus stops will be out of service:

                        SW Sixth Street @ Gage Blvd.

                        SW Sixth Street @ Chalet Apartments

                        SW Sixth Street @ Morningside

                        SW Sixth Street @ Grand (Presbyterian Manor)

REASON: The outbound #6 West Sixth bus will be on regular route to SW Sixth Street and Gage Blvd. It will turn right (north) on Gage Blvd. to the westbound I-70 on-ramp, it will continue westbound on I-70 to the Fairlawn off-ramp, it will turn left (south) on Fairlawn to SW Sixth Street, it will turn right (west) on SW Sixth Street. Back on route.
