Due to a boiler replacement project, the regular West 21st staging area will be blocked off in the Quincy Street Station (QSS) parking lot.
The outbound West 21st bus will exit the staging area just to the East of the West 10th and West 29th Special staging area onto Monroe. Back on route.
The inbound West 21st bus will be on regular route to 9th Street and Quincy. It will turn East on 9th Street into QSS and stage just to the East of the West 10th and West 29th Special staging area.
Effective Tuesday, August 13, 2019, the outbound West 21st bus will be on regular route to 21st & Belle. It will turn North on Belle to the entrance of the west/back Topeka West High School parking lot, proceed East into the parking lot to the bus loading/unloading zone located at the far East end of the parking lot nearest the school. After loading/unloading, proceed West in the left hand lane to the stop sign, turn South on Belle to 21st, West on 21st. Back on route.
(NOTE: As you are turning back out onto Belle, be aware of fast moving traffic coming from the North on Belle.)
The afternoon inbound “:45 after” West 21st bus will begin their run at 21st & Belle at 15:15.
This route deviation will take place two times each weekday. Only the West 21st buses that depart Quincy Street Station at the following times will follow this deviation:
6:45 a.m. outbound (will arrive at Topeka West High School at approx. 7:04 a.m.)
7:15 a.m. outbound (will arrive at Topeka West High School at approx. 7:34 a.m.)
