Road work & water line replacement completely closes SW 21st & Buchanan

EFFECTIVE DATE: Monday, August 24, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound West 21st will be on regular route to SW 17th Street & Kansas Ave., it will continue straight (west) on SW 17th Street to Washburn, it will turn left (south) on Washburn to SW 21st Street, it will turn right (west) on SW 21st Street. Back on route.

INBOUND: The inbound West 21st will be on regular route to SW 21st Street & Washburn, it will turn left (north) on Washburn to SW 17th Street, it will turn right (east) on SW 17th Street to Kansas Ave., it will turn left (north) on Kansas Ave. Back on route. 

The outbound and inbound West 21st bus stops between Kansas Ave. and Washburn will be out-of-service.

A temporary outbound bus stop will be placed on SW 17th Street, just west of Kansas Ave. A temporary inbound bus stop will be located on Washburn, just north of SW 21st Street.

REASON: Road work and water line replacement will completely close SW 21st Street @ Buchanan.
