Seaman High School Homecoming Parade 10-2-26

EFFECTIVE DATE: Friday, October 2, 2026

OUTBOUND: The outbound #2 North Kansas will be on route to Morse and Kansas Ave. It will continue straight on Morse to Topeka Blvd., turn right (north) on Topeka Blvd. to Lyman, turn right (east) on Lyman. Back on regular route.

INBOUND: The inbound #2 North Kansas will be on regular detour to Topeka Blvd. and Independence. It will continue straight on Topeka Blvd. to Morse, it will turn left (east) on Morse to Kansas Ave. Back on regular route.

This detour is anticipated to be in effect for the 11:45, 12:45, 1:45, and 2:45 loops only.

REASON: Seaman High School Homecoming Parade will close Kansas Ave. from Soldier Rd. to Lyman Road.

END DATE: Parade closure begins at Noon and should be completed by 3 p.m.

Added traffic on Kansas Ave. due to the closure of the Topeka Blvd. Bridge

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Tuesday, September 16, 2025

OUTBOUND: The outbound #2 North Kansas will be on regular route to the Curtis Flyoff. It will continue straight on the Kansas Ave. bridge, bypassing the Topeka Rescue Mission on the outbound leg of the route. Back on route.

INBOUND: The inbound #2 North Kansas will once again service the Topeka Rescue Mission bus stop.

REASON: Added traffic on Kansas Ave. due to the closure of the Topeka Blvd. bridge.

END DATE: Unknown at this time.
