Road Construction at 1st & Kansas Ave and Kansas Ave closed north & south of Hwy 24

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Monday, June 10, 2024

OUTBOUND: The outbound #2 North Kansas will be on regular route to SW 3rd, it will turn left (west) on SW 3rd to Topeka Blvd., it will turn right (north) on Topeka Blvd. to Morse, it will turn right (east) on Morse to Quincy, it will turn right (south) on Quincy to the Curtis Fly-Off, it will turn right (west) on Curtis Fly-Off to service the Topeka Rescue Mission, back on route to Topeka Blvd. and Lyman Road. It will continue straight (north) on Topeka Blvd. to Walnut Grove, it will turn right (east) on Walnut Grove to Magnolia, it will turn left (north) on Magnolia, it will turn left (west) into the El Torito parking lot, it will continue through the El Torito parking lot to the west access road which leads back to Walnut Grove, it will turn right (west) on Walnut Grove. Back on route.

INBOUND:  The inbound #2 North Kansas will be on regular route to Hwy-24 and Topeka Blvd. It will take the Topeka Blvd. off-ramp; it will continue south on Topeka Blvd. to Lyman Road, back on route to Morse, it will turn right (west) on Morse to Topeka Blvd., it will turn left (south) on Topeka Blvd. to SW 3rd, it will turn left (east) on SW 3rd to Kansas Ave., it will turn right (south) on Kansas Ave. Back on Route.

NOTICE TO PASSENGERS:  

The Topeka Rescue Mission and Walnut Grove bus stops will be serviced only on the outbound leg.

Both the outbound and inbound stops on Lyman Road as well as the outbound and inbound stops at Kansas Ave. & Elm Row will be out-of-service.

Outbound passengers need to go to the stop on Independence and Inbound passengers need to go to the stop at Topeka Blvd. & Lyman Road.

REASON:  The intersection of 1st Street and Kansas Ave. closed, and Kansas Ave. closed north and south of Hwy-24 for road construction.
